Chained Beasts Crowd and Executions Explained

Crowd approval is one of Chained Beasts’ combat systems. The official store says winning the crowd can help you, while the June preview connects executions with crowd approval. The available sources do not establish a universal score formula or a guaranteed reward for every action.

What are executions?

The May Demo update introduced executions as a way to finish downed enemies. That establishes the feature, but it does not provide a verified control binding for every platform or a complete timing chart. Follow the current tutorial and prompts for the actual input.

Read the controls guide if you are changing input devices. A recorded Demo clip is useful context but may use an older interface or build.

When should you attempt one?

Our tactical recommendation is to consider the situation around the target first. Other enemies, hazards and your team’s movement can make a finishing opportunity less attractive. An available interaction does not automatically make it the safest next move.

In co-op, say what you intend to do so your partners can adjust rather than pull you toward a different fight. The chain teamwork guide gives a simple framework for those calls.

Does an execution always make you invulnerable?

Do not assume that. The July beta post described a named skill, Untouchable, with a temporary invulnerability effect after an execution. A benefit attached to a particular skill is not proof of a baseline rule for every character in every version.

Read the skill you actually have and the current effect text. This guide does not convert an older beta duration into a universal launch guarantee.

How should crowd support affect a run?

Treat it as a system to learn alongside equipment and recovery. Observe which actions the game visibly rewards, then build a plan you can repeat without sacrificing positioning. Review combat basics and skills before chasing a bonus at any cost.
