Which Game Pass availability is officially announced?

Xbox Wire’s October Game Pass announcement lists Chained Beasts as an October 15 day-one addition for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It names Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The developer’s separate platform announcement also identifies Game Pass on Xbox and Windows PC.

These are the named services and platforms in the reviewed sources. Do not assume every subscription tier includes every access method. The current Xbox product page and your account’s regional eligibility remain the place to check before making a purchase or subscription decision.

Is the announced date the same everywhere?

The developer gives October 15 at 17:00 UTC, which is October 16 at 01:00 in Singapore. A regional storefront can therefore show a different calendar date without necessarily indicating a delay. At our October 15 pre-release source check, we had not verified that every region had unlocked.

Read the release-time guide for the announcement. Check the actual play or installation state of the product and account you intend to use, rather than treating a search-result date as proof of current access.

Does Game Pass give you the Steam edition?

The sources name Microsoft’s PC and Xbox access and separately identify the Steam release. They do not state that a Game Pass subscription adds a purchase entitlement to your Steam library. Xbox Play Anywhere is a label on the Microsoft product listing; it is not evidence of ownership in every other storefront.

Likewise, advertised cross-platform co-op does not automatically establish shared purchases or progress across Steam, PlayStation and Nintendo. Use the cross-play guide to keep connection compatibility, Steam Cloud and cross-save claims separate.

What multiplayer information does Xbox list?

The Xbox page lists local and online co-op for two to four players and Xbox cross-platform co-op. The game also supports solo play according to the developer and Steam description. A four-person co-op limit includes the person hosting; it does not mean a host plus four friends.

What should you check before starting a session?

Confirm the intended access method, account eligibility, installed product and input devices. Distinguish a locally installed game from a cloud session, and distinguish native online play from Steam Remote Play Together. Steam’s guest-sharing rules should not be presented as the Xbox cloud service’s rules.
