What are the official Windows minimum requirements?

Use the main game’s Steam listing, not the separate Demo product. The table below transcribes the named minimum components from the English full-game page checked on October 15, 2026. It does not represent our own hardware testing.

Compare the exact model of your processor and graphics device, rather than relying only on a brand or the amount of video memory. A product called “Core i5” is not a complete model identification, and a laptop’s integrated graphics are not automatically equivalent to a similarly named dedicated card.

What are the recommended requirements, disk space and DirectX version?

The inspected recommended section specified only the 64-bit processor and operating-system condition. It did not publish a recommended CPU, graphics card, RAM target, Windows storage requirement or DirectX version. We leave those fields unspecified rather than inventing a conventional-looking PC specification table.

An installer or a later official update may provide more information. If you report a changed requirement, include the product page and its current text. A speculative installation-size figure from another game is not evidence for Chained Beasts.

Why does an older Demo guide say 4 GB RAM?

The separate Demo listing gave a 4 GB Windows minimum at inspection, while the main product listed 8 GB. The CPU, graphics and OS names shown in those inspected Windows minimum sections matched, but the memory requirement differed.

For a purchase or installation decision, use the full game’s requirements. The Demo comparison covers the broader content and language differences. Passing a Demo test does not establish full-game performance across every arena, party size or graphics setting.

Do these requirements guarantee a particular frame rate?

No resolution, graphics preset or FPS target accompanied the listed minimum components in our evidence. We have not benchmarked the game. Treat the specifications as the developer’s compatibility baseline, not a promise of 60 FPS or a recommended streaming configuration.

If performance needs investigation, record the exact hardware, driver, game version, display resolution and the situation where the slowdown occurs. Change one reversible setting at a time and compare the same scene; do not attribute improvement to several simultaneous changes. Those are general diagnostic practices, not a verified fix for a Chained Beasts defect.

Does the game also have a Mac version?

Steam has a separate macOS requirements tab. Its processor and graphics entries should not be translated from the Windows table. Read our Mac compatibility guide for the actual listed Apple and Intel examples.

Once the game runs, use the controls guide before setting up multiple players. The minimum hardware table does not establish an independent-keyboard limit or a particular multiplayer device arrangement.
