Chained Beasts Price and Announced Launch Discount
The developer announced a US$19.99 regular price and US$12.99 launch offer for two weeks. Understand the region, timing and Game Pass distinctions.
What price did the developer announce?
The October launch-price post names a regular US$19.99 price and a US$12.99 launch offer, described as a 35% discount for two weeks. The figures belong to that announcement. We have not observed a completed purchase or verified a final checkout in every region and storefront.
| Price information | Developer announcement |
|---|---|
| Regular US-dollar price | US$19.99 |
| Launch offer | US$12.99 |
| Discount described | 35% |
| Duration described | Two weeks at launch |
Do not convert these into an assumed local-currency price using an exchange rate and label it official. A regional store can use its own pricing and display rules. The amount and offer state shown by your intended product are the relevant purchase check.
When does the launch offer start or finish?
The source describes a launch promotion lasting two weeks, but this guide does not invent an exact regional end timestamp. The developer separately announced October 15 at 17:00 UTC for launch. That is October 16 at 01:00 in Singapore, which explains why some readers see a different calendar date.
Read the release-time explanation and inspect the current store offer. A discount announced before release does not mean every region has already unlocked or that the offer will remain after its stated window.
Is the Demo a permanently free version?
The developer said the Carthage Demo would be taken offline when the full game launched. Its temporary availability should not be presented as a promise of an ongoing free edition containing the full campaign.
The Demo comparison describes the separate products and their content. Use official store links rather than a third-party download page that claims to provide a current free full version.
How is Game Pass access different from a purchase price?
The official Game Pass announcement names supported Microsoft access methods and subscription tiers. That is a separate question from buying a particular Steam or console product. A subscription statement should not be rewritten as a purchase entitlement in every storefront.
See Game Pass access for the verified announcement. Before arranging a party, also check cross-play and platform distinctions: the availability of two editions does not by itself document how they connect or share progress.
What should you confirm at the store?
Check the product name, platform, account region, displayed currency, current offer and any taxes or conditions shown before purchase. If a price differs from this page, compare it with the current official product rather than assume either figure applies worldwide. This page records an announcement and does not monitor prices automatically.
